Anyone sick of this 2nd rate football with no fuckin heart?

Postby pat on Wed Jan 13, 2010 11:43 pm

i dont know about you lot but i am , or was a big supporter of rafa but its wearing thin, i was brought up in the 70s and 80s, i dont know if i was spoilt but for fucks sake, is it to much to ask for a little bit of passion and character, i saw fuck all of that tonight, i have stuck up for him up to now but thats it for me now, to play so tamely once in a year is just about acceptable but to play so tamely every few weeks is not, slag me all you want but i now think its time to let our players know how we feel, be it booing or what, i,ve served my time as a l,pool fan, and i think the lads who went tonight had the right to boo them, how much fuckin worse can it get, anyone

This thread will probably be around for while....

The word fanatic has been used many times.. I think it’s more than fanaticism. It’s a religion to them. The thousands who come here, come to worship.. it’s a sort of shrine, it isn’t a football ground.

probably about as long as Rafa is taking a wage at Liverpool.... wonder if Rafa will wave off Real madrid this time now they are going to be looking for a new manager. Suppose it would be better Torres and Reina off to Madrid than playing for Man city.... now if this doesnt provoke some debate nothing will.... come on everybody has plenty to say with a few drinks in them in the pub..... perhaps every member should be issued with a lap top next season to resuscitate this forum.
can the budget stretch to that.

The performance against Wigan showed that yes, it could get worse!!

I didn't see the 70's or a lot of the 80's, and I can confidently say that that performance was the worst I have seen in my time as a Liverpool fan.

Tonight's Lille match is a totally different contest. If the players are allowed to even consider another performance like the one on Monday night, P45's better be getting dished out to a lot of them!

It's as if you're holding it against him for showing some loyalty to us. He could easily have left last time, but he's determined to take us to the top. Given the situation with the owners, that seems less and less likely.

Since you're adamant that Rafa's the wrong man for the job, who do you propose succeeds him?

To paraphrase Joni Mitchell, you'll miss him if he goes.

After tonights piss poor performance.............AGAIN how many people are going to blame the Yanks before Rafa, Rafa bought the team, Rafa picks the tactics, rafa should walk!

This is going to descend into another fucking Rafa argument!

Just to nip it in the bud..... Rik, Smithy, we cannot point all the fingers of blame at him. Morris, he's not the untouchable you wish he was.

Talking about the football, which is what this thread is about, the players don't have the desire/belief/concern/heart and neither does the manager, the players are not making the correct choices on the pitch, the managers not making them on it, and we all know the Yanks don't care, so this second rate football that is depressing us all is not down to one man.
